At Oatley Vigmond, we believe everyone deserves to live free from violence and to know they are not alone.
We are proud to support Walk a Mile in Her Shoes, an event that brings our community together to raise awareness about intimate partner violence and stand in solidarity with survivors. Participants of all ages are invited to walk one mile in women’s shoes, or their own, to spark meaningful conversations, challenge gender-based violence, and show survivors that our community stands with them.
This important event supports the Women & Children’s Shelter of Barrie, which has been providing safe shelter, counselling, advocacy, and essential support to women and children since 1981.
Together, we can help create a safer, more compassionate community.
