Husband & wife suffer serious injuries in U.S. motorcycle crash

Our clients were seriously injured when the driver of a pick-up truck turned left in front of them as they were driving through an intersection on their motorcycle. They suffered soft tissue injuries and one of our clients sustained pelvic fractures and a leg amputation (above the knee). The wife quit her job to stay home and care for her husband, who had just retired after a long career. They sued the at-fault driver in the US but the driver’s insurance policy limits were only $200,000 USD.
