Traumatic Brain Injury Because Tavern Over-Served Driver

Our beautiful young client was a passenger in a vehicle. The operator of the vehicle had become intoxicated at a tavern. Because of the driver’s intoxication a collision ensued in which our young client suffered a severe brain injury. Our client was blessed with a wonderful, caring and compassionate mother who devoted her life to caring for her daughter. Our client needed 24 hour care because she could not care for herself. We were successful in recovering the limits of the driver’s policy and the tavern’s policy, thus providing funding for our client’s care for the rest of her life. Taverns are liable in Ontario if they serve a patron to the point of intoxication and allow them to drive.
