Liane is committed to representing individuals who have suffered serious personal injuries and to families who have suffered the losses of loved ones. Liane holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor, where she received the Torkin Manes Cohen and Arbus award for combined academic achievement and service to the community, and the Charles J. Clark scholarship for academic excellence and involvement in community and volunteer activities. She was called to the bar in 2013.
Liane is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the Advocates’ Society, a co-author of the article “The Latest Word from FSCO and Judges on Relevant Facebook Production Issues” and co-editor of the Oatley McLeish Guide to the Scheduling of Trials and Other Matters in Ontario Courthouses. As a volunteer with the Community Legal Aid clinic, she gained valuable litigation experience in the areas of Criminal Law, Landlord and Tenant disputes and Small Claims Court matters. In addition, she was a member of the Social Orientation Committee and competed in various mooting competitions. In her free time, Liane loves spending time with her husband and two children.
