$1 Million Settlement
A 40 year old millwright suffered catastrophic injuries when his vehicle hit an oncoming transport truck head-on. He fractured his ribs, punctured his lung, fractured his pelvis and ankle, and suffered a closed head injury. He had a hip replacement surgery and three debridement surgeries.
He was left with an open wound over his hip which would not close. He relied heavily on hours of personal assistance every day to help him perform daily activities. He also underwent significant therapy and had ongoing future care needs.
When his auto insurance company reduced his attendant care benefits and denied other benefits he needed, we sued his insurer and recovered over $1M for this young man’s ongoing rehabilitation, housing modifications, income replacement, and attendant care needs.
