Holly Schmid
Holly has always been passionate about assisting others and meeting them with care and understanding. For Holly, a career in personal injury law was a natural extension of her goal to help people as they navigate complex and difficult life changes.
Holly first joined Oatley Vigmond as a summer student in 2021 and returned to article in 2022. Upon her call to the bar in 2023, she joined the team as an associate lawyer.
Holly holds a Juris Doctor from Queens University and an Honours B.A. in Disability Studies and Sociology from Western University. While in law school, Holly worked as a student case-worker at the Queen’s Elder Law Clinic and Queen’s Legal Aid. She also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, and produced materials and research related to accessibility issues in Canada.
Outside of work, Holly enjoys spin and barre fitness classes, trying new baking recipes, and spending time with her friends and family.
