“Golf Like MADD” 2016 Golf Tournament

The Barrie/Simcoe Chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving will be hosting its “Golf Like MADD” Golf Tournament on Thursday, August 11th, 2016. It will be held again at Innisbrook Golf Course with a shotgun start at 8:30 AM. This Golf Tournament will assist MADD Canada to raise funds and awareness in their fight to end impaired driving in our communities.

The local Chapter of MADD has been helping victims of impaired driving in Simcoe County for well over 14 years and in Canada, at a National level since 1990. Their Mission Statement is: “To Stop Impaired Driving and Support the Victims of this Violent Crime.” Impaired driving remains the #1 criminal cause of death in Canada, killing 4 people every day and injuring another 174 each and every day in Canada.
