March of Dimes Annual ABI Conference

Brain injury doesn’t just affect individuals, it affects families and friends. This conference is designed for individuals who have survived a brain injury as well as their family supports and /or caregivers.

Registrants can attend one of the following sessions:

Session for Survivors of ABI
•Dr. Tim Feeney Ph. D. will discuss “Identity after Brain Injury”
Tim is an engaging and funny speaker. He is a world-renowned expert on TBI and behavioural issues.
•Survivor guest speakers will offer inspiration and beneficial strategies for living life after brain injury
•Community Services will offer exhibits and information

Session for Family Members /Caregivers
•Caron Gan RN, Registered Marriage and Family Therapist, and Certified Clinical Traumatologist, will discuss “Seven Highly Effective Habits for Families Living with the Effects of Brain Injury”
•Community resources will offer exhibits and information
