Limiting Municipal Liability Hurts the Innocent
The Lawyers Weekly recently published an article written by Roger Oatley titled Limiting Municipal Liability Hurts the Innocent.
The article begins by stating that the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) is asking the Ontario Government to limit their liability in motor vehicle accident claims against municipalities. Roger explains that if this change occurs it has the potential to severely threaten access to fair compensation for catastrophically injured accident victims in Ontario.
