On October 21, 2007 Cal was riding his Honda motorcycle. He was riding at the speed limit in his own lane when a young man driving an uninsured dirt-bike lost control driving in the opposite direction. Cal had no opportunity to avoid a collision. The dirt-bike crossed the centre-line and smashed into Cal’s motorcycle.
Cal suffered an incomplete spinal cord injury at T11. As a result, he lives with significant pain. He is able to walk with a cane but only for short distances. His insurer has accepted that he suffered a catastrophic injury.
“We were so amazed at how organized everything was. They called when they said they would, and followed through with everything that was discussed. The quality of legal service was fantastic, and we were very pleased with the outcome of our case. Every staff member we had contact with was accommodating and dedicated, and we can’t say enough about them!
We were treated with respect. The staff and lawyers were very understanding, spoke to us in “layman’s” terms so we could understand all facets of our case, and we felt like we were part of the decision-making process.
We would definitely recommend Troy Lehman and Roger Oatley to others! We were impressed by their expertise, but most importantly we had complete trust in them to settle our case in a timely manner and with as little stress as possible. We are very appreciative to have them as our lawyers.”
