In the summer of 2009 Maureen Roach was a healthy and active 50 year old woman. She was employed full-time as a registered practical nurse. On July 31, 2009 the defendant failed to stop for a red traffic signal and caused a horrific collision with Maureen’s vehicle. Maureen suffered a traumatic brain injury as well as other injuries which have precluded her from returning to any form of gainful employment.
