$850,000 Settlement
This case involved a married father in his forties who was tragically killed in a collision with a snowmobile. The deceased was a well-paid professional with a young family before his untimely passing. A lawsuit was commenced against the owner and driver of the snowmobile.
The insurance company argued that the deceased caused the crash by being in the wrong place at the wrong time. We obtained numerous expert reports from engineers and others to prove that the snowmobile rider was the at-fault party. The claim was settled for $850,000. This will allow the deceased’s widow and children to replace the income that they would have benefited from if the deceased had not been killed.
