$2.4 Million Settlement
Our client was walking across an intersection in the crosswalk with a green light when he was hit by an uninsured driver. His head struck the windshield and he was thrown more than 10 feet, resulting in a severe brain injury and fractured hip.
As a result of his brain injury, our client had poor memory and severely impaired judgment, requiring around-the-clock supervision. The lawsuits against the auto insurance company (on behalf of the uninsured driver) and his accident benefits insurer were settled prior to trial for a total of more than $2,400,000.
