Our clients were the parents of a little boy who died following a routine tonsil removal surgery. He had passed away in hospital as a result of a condition in which the amount of sodium in his body was severely reduced, leading to irreversible brain damage.
Our investigation revealed deficiencies in the boy’s monitoring following the surgery. The lawsuit against the hospital and nurses was settled before trial for more than $300,000.
