$2.15 Million Settlement
Our client, a young married professional, was bicycling in a large urban centre. Without warning, someone opened a car door directly in front of her. She was knocked down and then run over by another vehicle. The crash left her with multiple facial fractures, a brain injury, a pelvic fracture and fractures in her spine. She will never return to work and requires ongoing care and support.
The claims against the two motorists involved in the crash and the claim for statutory accident benefits were settled for $2,150,000. In addition to this amount, the client will continue to receive long-term disability and other disability benefits.
